Projects

Raised beds and Patio area for less advantaged gardeners and children

We are hoping to start construction on our latest project in 2009. We have been raising funds over the last two years and have now secured a small grant from BAA.

Using a 5 rod plot it is our intention to pave this level with the existing path, and to construct 10 beds approximately 3m x 1.2m.

The area will have a clearing in the centre for chairs and all the beds will allow wheelchairs full access around them.

Eventually we would like to have a summerhouse / shelter built next to this area for inclement times and social gatherings.

Current project

Shrubbery bed

We are in the process of constructing a shrubbery bed between the car park and the first plots. We would welcome any help from plot-holders with digging, planting or donation of shrubs.
